One woman took to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips and Tricks group on Facebook to ask for advice, writing: “How do I get rid of this mould in the washing machine door seal?
“Washer isn’t that old even. Its rank. I run a clean roughly once a month.
“Makes the inside sparkly but doesn’t sort the rubber.
And fellow cleaning fanatics were quick to answer and offer their advice, with many of them suggesting leaving kitchen roll soaked in bleach on the seal overnight.
“Soak kitchen roll in bleach,” one person wrote.
