Instructions:
First, you should apply a thick layer paste made of baking soda and a little water over the mold. Then, pour 3% hydrogen peroxide over it. You will see that it begins to fizz, which means that destroying the old and stubborn mold starts.
Accelerate the process by scraping the deposits with a scrub brush. Once you have removed all the mold, you should dry the area and add the EC3 mold solution spray over it.

- Pre-wash black mold on the bathroom ceiling with a mixture of warm water and mild detergent.
- Spray the moldy ceiling with an anti-fungal solution, and sponge it into corners as needed.

How To Get Rid Of Black Mold In Shower Caulking
I wrote a whole post about removing black mold from shower caulking, though my bleach method has been critiqued for not actually doing more than removing the stain and color of the mold. And the mold did come back 6-9 months later.

This is because bleach is no longer considered to be the best way to remove mold. It is only effective if the mold is on a non-porous material like tile, bathtubs, glass, and countertops. It doesnt reach the mold growing underneath the surface. Also, bleach can damage the materials it is used on as its a harsh, corrosive chemical. The fumes are strong and harsh and it must be handled with gloves.
But, it does do a great job at removing the mold stains, but the mold isnt truly killed. If you want to get rid of the possibility of future mold growth, bleach isnt going to cut it.
You can instead use vinegar, baking soda, ammonia, oxygen bleach, borax or hydrogen peroxide.
I, however, have not been able to find many tutorials on how to use these products specifically for cleaning moldy caulking in bathrooms, so if anyone has tried using them, with success, Id love to know! I tried making a paste of water and OxiClean and slathered it onto the moldy caulking, but it did absolutely nothing. It dried out shortly after application and didnt remove the mold or the stains at all.
Adding new caulk is a great way to spruce up that moldy shower.

At Bathroom Vanity Cabinet Mold we explained how water running under or behind a bathroom vanity or sink base can cause hidden mold growth on the vanity back, under-side, and on the wall behind the unit. Our two photographs just below show mold that was found on the chipboard vanity base back surface and on the drywall behind the vanity.
The drywall behind the vanity looked bad enough that we explored the wall cavity to be sure that additional demolition above the moldy drywall itself was not needed.
Here we show the underside of the bathroom vanity cabinet. At the top of the photo, in particular, you can see that the chipboard vanity side was swollen and damaged by water that had passed along the bathroom floor.
We decided to toss out this vanity base rather than try to clean and repair it. Placing our new bath sink vanity base upside down, we sealed the bottom edges as well as all other un-coated surfaces on the vanity back before the new unit was installed.

Clean Mold Off Silicone Caulking
A second option is to clean the mold off of the caulking. This is only recommended if the mold is very limited in size and growth. I would say anything that is less than five or six inches in length can be cleaned, then monitored to see if the mold comes back. If it does come back I would remove the silicone caulking and replace it with fresh caulking.
When you replace the caulking you should investigate the type of caulking you use. There are some new brands of caulking that are mold resistant or are treated with a chemical that kills mold. As always if you are not comfortable doing the job yourself call a local contractor that has experience in removal and or working with mold. They will often know how to control the issue, remediate it and fix the ongoing issue that caused the mold.
