Hard water is alkaline, so you need an acid to cut through them. Try spraying your glass shower enclosure with lemon juice or vinegar, letting it sit for five minutes, then wiping down the glass with paper towels. This works best on widespread hard water thats not too thick, such as in a frameless shower enclosure.
You may find that gently wiping down the glass with salt water before spraying with vinegar or lemon juice is more effective, and while it requires a bit more elbow grease, its a safe, natural option.
Dont Use Too Much Liquid/powder
Despite what the little lines on the laundry cap tell you, dont fill up the cap more than the 1 or 2 line, and less for smaller loads.
Of course, detergent companies wont give you this advice, but Ive heard this from both service technicians and local appliance companies. HE detergent is so concentrated, so you really dont need that much.

How To Remove Mold From The Showerdrain
This is by far the easiest moldremoval task in the shower.
- Remove the shower drain cover if there is one. If not, skip to step two.
- Spray the drain cover and/or the drain rim, inside, and stopper with peroxide.
- Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
- Using a toothbrush or the like, scrub all the mold you can see off the drain and components.
- Rinse well, dry, and replace the drain cover.
- Spray the drain generously with EC3 Mold Solution Spray or Remedy Mold Treatment Spray.
- Allow it to air dry.
