Put simply, the manganese found in your water supply is oxidizing, and bacteria are feeding off of it which causes the unsightly black gunk forming around your faucet. Again, the good news here is that similar to Serratia marcescens, manganese in your water and the bacteria feeding off it are both essentially harmless. Apply Bleach Or Baking Soda Paste

Chlorine bleach is one sure-fire way to zap mold in your grout. You can brush or scrub it onto the grout directly, working on limited areas, one at a time, and letting the bleach soak in for half an hour on each new section. Baking soda paste
Another excellent cleaning agent you can use on the mold in your shower grout is baking soda paste. Mix 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide with 1/2 cup of baking soda until you get a nice malleable paste. Spread the paste-like cake icing, right onto the strips of moldy grout. After ten minutes, use a scrub brush or a brush with bristles to scour away the paste. Rinse the areas with water and let them dry. Is the mold gone? If not, repeat the process as necessary.
For deeper cleaning inside all those little pores of the grout, apply the baking soda paste as normal, then spray a bit of hydrogen peroxide over the paste so it will fizz. The foaming paste should penetrate deeper into the grout for more thorough cleaning.

Hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar, and baking soda are three nontoxic products that can remove mold in shower areas effectively. Hydrogen peroxide is naturally antifungal and antibacterial, which makes it perfect for treating mold. Baking soda also kills mold and absorbs moisture that facilitates mold growth.
Mix one part hydrogen peroxide and another part water into a water bottle and spray the solution onto the mold. Or, mix one tablespoon of baking soda into a spray bottle of water. Redo The Shower Grout

If you ever find yourself in the above situation, then try not to panic. While homeowners have come to fear all kinds of dark-hued mold, the term black mold really refers to one specific species: Stachybotrys chartarum. Any type of mold can be gross to look at, of course, and there are a wide variety of fungi that can release illness-causing mycotoxins.
However, the fact remains that not every type of bathroom mold is going to be true black mold, nor is its presence going to warrant ripping up shower tiles and replacing all of your furniture.
