The benefit of store-bought products is that you dont have to worry about mixing substances, you can be sure of their measurements. However, most are bleach-based, so you will need to be aware of any fumes.

This makes bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and basements ideal places for mold to develop humidity is always high and air flow is usually limited. Therefore, it is very common to see mold in these rooms on walls and ceilings, on caulking and between tiles, etc.
Tile grout, however, is where mold is most often found. There is a good reason for that tiles are typically used in areas where moisture is abundant and the porous nature of grout makes it particularly susceptible to mold growth.
When mold builds up on the grout, it not only makes your kitchen or bathroom look old and dirty, but also poses serious health risks to you and your family and compromises the integrity of your home.

How To Remove Mold From The Showerdrain
This is by far the easiest moldremoval task in the shower.
- Remove the shower drain cover if there is one. If not, skip to step two.
- Spray the drain cover and/or the drain rim, inside, and stopper with peroxide.
- Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
- Using a toothbrush or the like, scrub all the mold you can see off the drain and components.
- Rinse well, dry, and replace the drain cover.
- Spray the drain generously with EC3 Mold Solution Spray.

- Allow the bathroom to air out for at least 15 minutes after taking a shower by opening the windows.

- It can grow around the drain and on the drain plug.
- Mold can grow on the shower caulking.
- It can grow in the door tracks if you have doors.
- Mold can grow under shampoo bottles, bars of soap, shaving cream bottles, etc
- While not technically a part of the shower, mold can grow on a shower curtain.
Mold can also grow behind shower tiles and on the wall but this is due to a leak behind the shower and not from water in the shower typically. The exception is if your grout is old and cracking. Then water can seep behind the shower tiles allowing mold to grow.
Ensure Proper Ventilation & Protective Measures
Bleach creates toxic fumes, which is bad news for our respiratory tracts. So, ensure proper ventilation inside the bathroom beforehand. Keep the bathroom door open and switch on the exhaust fan. Ample air circulation will nullify the risk.
Apart from that, wear gloves and put on a respiratory mask. A pair of safety goggles would also come in handy since bleach can cause severe damage if it gets to the eye.
