Youve seen me talk about using bleach for cleaning various different things, but while bleach can be used to clean an RV awning you should proceed with caution.
Bleach has an extremely high pH, making it corrosive to just about everything it comes in contact with. You should never use undiluted bleach on an RV awning otherwise you can degrade the material and shorten your awnings lifespan significantly.
You should dilute bleach to at least one cup per gallon of water, and spot treat the location using a spray bottle. Make sure the area you are applying it to wont have its color bleached out. It would be great if you use bleach to kill the mold, but you may have a giant white spot left behind if you leave bleach on for too long or it isnt diluted enough.

Hi there,Use white vinegar, spray it on and then wipe or scrub. it works and is safer than bleach. With the curtains I would soak them in water and vinegar.Good luck.

If you’re going to use bleach to remove the mildew stains you need to make sure you can completely rinse all bleach residue off or the canvas could deteriorate & start to fall. The owner’s manual to our Starcraft suggest bleach but I don’t see how I could thoroughly rinse it out when the affected areas are attached to the ends of the beds & are over the kitchen pullout.

If the source of the musty smell is coming from the underside of your trailer, the underbelly insulation is to blame.
Mobile home has something called an underbelly chamber, which is a plastic wrap that houses all the ductwork, floor joists, as well as plumbing under the trailer.

On the other hand, if its of Dicor tape, you should cut part of the underbelly and not remove the entire section.
Once you fix the leakage or mold formation, you will have to buy Dicor strip tape to choke in the underbelly right back up.
